AM/FM radio is “king of the road,” with far more frequent users than other in-car options, according to The Infinite Dial 2013: Navigating Digital Platforms, from Arbitron and Edison Research. Nearly six in ten adults 18+ say they use AM/FM radio “most” or “almost all of the times” they are in the car, far outpacing the next highest in-car audio options, the CD player, portable digital audio/MP3 players and satellite radio.
