Multiple Market Measurement
A Basic Radio Industry Requirement

For today’s radio industry, audience information from one or two markets may be of limited use. A service ought to provide estimates for a critical mass of markets, and provide the means for the client to assemble the estimates from multiple markets into useful information for the group owner, media planner, or anyone who is interested in an area beyond a single market.

Arbitron’s services are national in scope. Today, Arbitron conducts regular surveys in 298 radio Metros around the country, as well as national surveys through its Nationwide and RADAR® services. Current plans call for PPM measurement to be the standard in approximately the Top 50 radio Metros.
