Arbitron Promotes Stacie De Armas To Director Of Hispanic Marketing

NEW YORK, January 13, 2003 - Arbitron Inc. (NYSE: ARB) has promoted Stacie de Armas, 28, to director of Hispanic Marketing Services.
As the director of Hispanic Marketing Services, Ms. de Armas offers her expertise to agencies and advertisers interested in developing multi-cultural marketing and advertising campaigns. She is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with advertisers and advertising agencies targeting the Hispanic market.
Most recently, Ms. de Armas held the position of senior account manager with Arbitron's Advertising/Agency Services, working predominantly on key Hispanic advertiser/agency accounts. Prior to Arbitron, Ms. de Armas was a media analyst and broadcast buyer for the general and Hispanic markets at McCann-Erickson in Los Angeles.
Ms. de Armas served as the president of the Media Research Council of Los Angeles from January 2001 to June 2002 and remains an active member. She is also a member of the American Women in Television and Radio and the Advertising Club of Los Angeles. Ms. de Armas is fluent in Spanish.
Ms. de Armas attended California State Polytechnic University. Ms. de Armas is fluent in Spanish.
