Tips for New RADAR Plus Data Input Wizard

Toolbar image

Add all units in Selected Parts screen captureBegin with the updated Toolbar in Parts or Spots to take you to RADAR Plus where you can see the combined reach of a RADAR schedule with non-RADAR media data. Now, in RADAR 88, we've redesigned RADAR Plus with a new "look" and a new Data Input Wizard for much easier usage!

RADAR Plus's Data Input Wizard asks you about:

  • The target (socio-eco-sex/age group) for the analysis
  • How many weeks to report
  • Cost information for RADAR data (optional)
  • An adjustment factor—used to weight the Other Media Data entries
  • Type of data—audience (average audience or gross impressions) and reach
  • Other Media Data source information—description, number of units, audience estimate and optional cost

Enter Other Media Data on the Wizard Grid

Input your Other Media Data on the Wizard's last screen. The options on this screen reflect your previous Wizard selections. The Wizard calculates the percentage columns and keeps a running total in the top line as you add more media source data. The tab key is a quick way to enter the data.

Or Import Data from ACT 1 into RADAR Plus

ACT 1 imageIf you're an ACT 1 Systems, Inc. subscriber, you can use the new File menu, Import from ACT 1 to bring ACT 1 data into RADAR Plus. You'll see a message telling you about the demographic category in your ACT 1 data and your data from Parts or Spots. If demos are different, just click Cancel, and either select another target demo under the RADAR Plus Data menu (on the top of the screen) or go back to Parts or Spots and select the appropriate target demo, retabulate and then click the RADAR Plus Toolbar button to resend the data to RADAR Plus. Quick fix!

Then View Combined Data in RADAR Plus
