Executive Vice President, Organization Effectiveness & Corporate Communications
As Executive Vice President, Organization Effectiveness & Corporate Communications, Marilou focuses on aligning talent, organizational structure and culture to achieve the company’s business objectives. In addition, she manages the daily operations of the human resources function. Her team is responsible for talent acquisition and planning, leadership development and coaching, rewards and recognition, compensation and benefits, employee development, and employee relations.
Marilou joined Arbitron in 1984 as the senior staff consultant in the Research organization, and has held leadership roles in Operations and Corporate Communications prior to being named Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Development in 2000 and Senior Vice President of Organization Effectiveness in 2006. She has been responsible for corporate culture and communications initiatives that gained the company national and local recognition, including three years as a Fortune “Top 100” company.
Prior to coming to Arbitron, Marilou was the Director of Research and Managing Editor for TV Factbook at Television Digest Inc. in Washington D.C. Marilou serves on the Board of Directors for the Emma Bowen Foundation and American Women in Radio and Television, National Capital Area.
Marilou holds a B.A. in Communications and Political Science from Bowling Green State University.
