Training Tip on Using Your Scarborough Data: Exercise #26

When a business is not located in the Scarborough database by name, can you still provide useful information to your client?

Yes. You can still be their market resource! Look for alternate categories or similar clients you can pull data on to present to your client.

Instructions for the Leader:

Step 1:
Ask each AE to select one business they are targeting that has only one location or is a business they have already searched for in QUALITAP and couldn't locate by name.

Step 2:
Ask each AE to go back to QUALITAP and search for any category information, related categories or similar clients and/or competitors in the category that they can use to present to the client.
